Overview
The AI for Education Singapore Conference, organised by Nanyang Technological University (NTU), is a timely and thought-provoking forum for educators, researchers, and innovators to explore the future of learning in an AI-shaped world. Over several action-packed days, the conference brings together global thought leaders, cutting-edge innovations, and inspiring showcases to discuss the critical dimensions of learning and teaching in an age of intelligent technologies.
Building on the success of previous editions, AIFE 2026 will, for the first time, open a Call for Papers, providing a platform for high-quality academic and design-based contributions that bridge research, practice, and policy in AI-enabled education.
Conference Theme
Under the theme “Pedagogical, Inclusive and Ethical Use of AI in Education,” AIFE 2026 foregrounds three guiding principles:
- Pedagogical: advancing human-centred and learning-driven uses of AI
- Inclusive: ensuring equitable access and meaningful participation
- Ethical: fostering responsible, reflective, and sustainable engagement with AI

Submissions are invited (in English) describing original research, conceptual development, case studies, or innovative practices that have not been published or are not under review elsewhere. Each submission should select one primary strand and one submission category (Full Paper, Extended Abstract, or Symposium).
Submissions should include:
- Objectives and significance of the work, including its contribution to the conference theme.
- Theoretical, methodological, or design approach, with sufficient detail to understand the work’s grounding and rigor.
- Key findings, implications, or expected outcomes, with a focus on relevance for research, practice, and/or policy.
- Relevant references, using a consistent citation style (APA 7th is recommended in the template).
To support authors, the conference provides template documents specifying formatting requirements (e.g., Times New Roman 12 pt font, single spacing, A4 page size, no page numbers, and structure of sections such as Introduction/Rationale, Framework, Methodology, Findings, Discussion, Acknowledgements, and References). Authors must prepare their submissions using provided templates.
